The ISKA was founded as the International Sport Karate Association. It has since changed its name to the International Sport Kickboxing Association and continues to expand across different combat sports. It is now a sanctioning body for competitive martial arts across over 20 different disciplines. These include Mod Thai, Full Thai, K1 and MMA. The association spans across 50 different countries and draws more than 3500 competitors to the ISKA World Martial Arts Championships.
