The Australian Muay Thai Awards were established to give recognition where it’s due. They provide awards to fighters, coaches, promotions, sponsors and photographers for their commitment to the sport throughout the year.
Once a year the Muay Thai community meets for a gala night and the awards are delivered. Recipients are voted on by the community. The awards are not for profit.
Categories include Male Pro and Female Pro Fighter of the Year, Male and Female Teenage Fighter of the year, upcoming fighter, trainer of the year, ambassador, technical fighter and sexiest fighter. Awards are also given to referees, MC’s and for the walk out of the year.
