Base Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Base Gracie Jiu-Jitsu teaches a traditional style of BJJ following the beliefs taught at the Gracie Academy in Rio de Janeiro. The school is run by Professor Carlos Collor who spent over 40 years teaching at the Academia Gracie de Jiu-Jitsu. The gym is open in the early morning and afternoons on weekdays, and the morning on Saturday for fundamentals. Classes and sessions available include:

Training

• Kids Classes 3-5 and 6-11 year olds
• Women’s Self Defence
• Open Mat
• Adult Fundamentals
• Junior Fundamentals
• Competition Training

Gi and No-Gi training is offered. Classes are available for kids through to adults and can be paid on a casual basis or by the month or a 10 class pass. Trial lessons are available for first timers to the academy. Seminars are hosted by the academy throughout the year. Private 1 on 1 lessons are available outside of regular class hours. The gym is equipped with a large mat space for grappling and submission.
